The St. Louis Dojo’s head instructor is Master Charles “Chuck” Martin. Mr. Martin began his martial arts training at the age of 18. After several years of training in Aikido and Shotokan Karate, he joined the St. Louis Dojo in 1985 and became head instructor in June of 1994. In July 2016 he joined the Board of Masters of IKA.
The ranking instructor in the Midwest, Mr. Martin holds the ranks of Godan (5th degree black belt) in Kokondo Karate as well as Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Jukido Ju Jitsu. He is a regular at the IKA International Seminars each summer, attends regional seminars around the country and visits other dojos in the US on a regular basis.
In addition to the St Louis dojo, Master Martin has students in Mountain Home, Arkansas and Lincoln, Nebraska.
